RKO Pictures  After the death of her father, a carnival clown, Jeannie insists on paying her way by performing as a dancer in the “girlie show.”  Jeannie meets local resident Bob, but claims she’s the carnival’s bookkeeper because his father is a pastor. When Bob learns the truth he’s disillusioned, but carnival owner Mike tells him Jeannie is a decent girl and not cut out to be a carnie. Bob and Jeannie will marry.
